Hao Yen Lim AKA Yen (CCC)

Yen holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. He is accredited under CCPA as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC).
He emphasizes empathy, grace, and understanding in his sessions. Putting clients first and listening attentively to what they have to say. He believes validation and encouragement can go a long way.
Yen specializes in Observed Experiential Integration, confidence-building, body image, anxiety, and trauma. His goal is to help you find meaning in the mess and have the capacity to process that going forward.
Viren Singh (RCC, RPC)

Viren believes everything is interrelated and that making positive changes in one aspect causes a ripple effect on others. He feels privileged to be chosen to experience personal stories with his clients, even stories that clients have told no one before.
His treatment approaches include solution-focused and cognitive behavioural therapy, but he does not shy from customizing treatment plans according to client needs.
Viren is committed to creating a judgment-free, safe space, to help clients find answers within so they feel strong enough to accomplish their goals. His work revolves around issues ranging from loneliness, grief, trauma, anxiety, and depression to coping with COVID-19, 2SLGBTQIA+, social media bullying, and more.

Rose Pamela G. Esguerra

Rose Pamela G. Esguerra is Minda Counselling’s virtual administrative assistant, social media manager, and content creator. Guided by a deep commitment to mental health advocacy, she supports the clinic’s mission by creating accessible content and ensuring an online presence that reflects care, safety, and inclusivity.
Pamela was the first Filipino recipient of the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship to the University of Toronto Scarborough, where she graduated summa cum laude and earned her HBSc degree in Psychological and Health Sciences. Currently, Pamela is pursuing her MA in Clinical Psychology at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. She joined Minda in 2023 as a clinical manager mentee under Hao Yen Lim, while also working as a transitional housing support worker in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
Whether behind the scenes or in direct service, Pamela approaches her work with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a calling to help others find meaning, balance, and hope.
